Hi, I’m Alva Wong, a dedicated personal trainer with over 20 years of experience. I am passionate about helping people achieve their fitness goals and live healthier, happier lives.
Based in the beautiful Kelowna, BC, I bring a blend of expertise and enthusiasm to every session, ensuring that each client feels supported and motivated. I am widely recognized for my coaching style and knowledge of movement. I use strength training paired with balance, stability, and explosive movements.
As a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education, I have a solid foundation in the science of fitness and an in-depth understanding of the biomechanics of the human body. My background in Human Kinetics has equipped me with the knowledge to create effective and safe training programs tailored to each individual's needs.
I am also a certified strength, conditioning, and nutrition specialist, bringing a holistic yet unique approach to training and diet with every client.
Outside of personal training, I am the proud president of the Okanagan Dragon Boat Racing Club. Coaching athletes of all ages and skill levels, I foster a community spirit and encourage a love for sport. When not on location or at my studio, you can find me coaching paddling sports on the water. Whether it’s Dragon Boat racing or any other physical activity, I believe in the power of sports/movement to transform lives.
I am committed to continuous growth, both personally and professionally. My goal is to create a positive and motivating environment where clients can not only achieve their fitness objectives but also develop mental resilience and emotional well-being.
